Some of my latest...

Recently, my dear friend Cassie acquired four chickens in the hopes to one day have fresh eggs. She and her husband built a beautiful hen house and painted it and hung flowers to give it a "homey" feel for the ladies. She asked me to make a shabby chic sign to hang above the entrance to the house. I honestly think it turned out pretty fabulous! Thanks to Cassie for sharing these great photos of how the finished sign looks on the hen house!

All signs are made from repurposed wood from the ReUse Hawaii warehouse in Honolulu. What a great addition to any beach home or bungalow. Or just for any beach lover in general! Its so hard to not keep all my creations for myself!

Even though the last craft fair was somewhat of a disaster, I have managed to be roped into another one! Go figure! I guess I just can't seem to stay away. A girl at work sells jewelry and has agreed to share a booth with me. But I gotta get started right away. November will be here before you know it and my stock is low.... But don't fret! You all know that The Second Pea pulls through! So mark your calendars and save your pennies! November 12th, The Second Pea will be in full swing at the Annual Hickam Arts and Crafts Fair!

Some Updates!

Hello everyone!

Its been a bit, but I just wanted to give a quick update on what is going on lately...

The craft show didn't go so well...It was raining and pouring and the wind was mighty mighty that day here in Hawaii! My crafts were soaked and some stuff even blew off and broke. Such as sad day for me, the crafter. So, I was forced to pack up my stuff and head out in the U-Haul I rented for that day. Hmmph! I was so disappointed. Anyhoo, on a brighter note, I started an ETSY shop with some of my items on it. You can go to www.thesecondpea.etsy.com to check it all out! I've already made a few sales and I have tons more to list. Hope all is well elsewhere!

So It's Been Awhile....

Hello bloggers! I just wanted to get everyone up to date on The Second Pea! So, life has been crazy, hectic, and basically downright exhausting for the past few months! I have been working full time and trying to prepare for the Hickam Craft Fair that I participated in last weekend. Finally, I have room to breathe! The weather was horrible for the fair and sales were down from what I usually bring in. Disappointing, to say the least. But on the bright side, I have stock leftover to sell on my Etsy website (www.thesecondpea.etsy.com) I am slowly but surely adding goodies and treasures to the shop so check it out!
